A PROUD COMMUNITY-BASED CENTRE WITH A RICH HISTORY

Maryborough Child Care Centre opened 1986, proudly standing as the first long day care centre in the region.

Our not-for-profit, community-based service began with the vision, dedication, and hard work of passionate parents on the Management Committee during the early 1980s.

The Centre provides a warm and welcoming environment where children, families, and educators feel truly “at home.”

Every corner of our centre reflects decades of commitment to quality, care, and early childhood development.

Children watering a garden with recycled bottles. Wooden fence surrounds the garden.
Children in construction gear playing with pipes and dirt outside.

Huge shady, natural, playgrounds, resource rich play rooms and most important of all, teachers and educators who are passionate about their chosen career provide a rich a and nurturing environment.

The centre has historically and continues to employ more educators than required by National Regulations so that we have excellent adult to child ratios.

All our educators are very well qualified and committed to ongoing professional development to maintain currency in their understandings, knowledge and practice.

Our Groups

We have four separate playrooms for our children, each with their own facilities.

The Nursery and Toddler groups each have their own large shady playground. The Kindy and Pre-Prep groups share two HUGE natural playgrounds.
